So on the topic of equipment during missions

Personal Items: Every soldier can carry two or three items of a non-weaponry nature. A pack of cigarettes, a few photos of home or something similar.

Over the top of the armour a combat webbing carries a selection of other items including matches, a canteen, compass and a variety of small items that shouldn't need detailing but might come up.

Just to point out that I never went outside the wire with any less than 8 mags and I was the medic. 10-12 mags is more likely for this type of mission and everyone would be carrying at least one belt of ammunition for the SAW or equivalent.

I think we'll give this a try as our equipment build since its a bit better then mine, give better player choice which is what I was kinda after anyway

So, build a Kit using the above and post it in here, that'll then be what your character is carrying in the field on the current op.

how specific do you want me to be with my medical supplies because I can just mash it all into one heading "Comprehensive medkit" or I can list it all individually.

I'm more of the "Comprehensive medkit", though it might run dry at thematically appropriate points, style of GMing

Doing the list for weapons makes sense to me but how many doses of Morphine you carry doesn't bother me.
